In recognizing Aaron Bonner's commitment to service despite battling cancer, the Brother's Keeper Award has been established.



Brother 2 Brother Youth Conference


Since 2008, The Aaron Bonner Foundation has been a sponsor of the annual Brother 2 Brother Youth Conference held in Washington, DC. The Brother 2 Brother Youth Conference is run dually between Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc., Beta Chapter and Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc., Mu Lambda Chapter. Both entities are active chapters of the Black Greek Letter Fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc. The goal of the conference is to help young men develop leadership skills and impart upon them a sense of responsibility to African American, and other historically disenfranchised communities. Each year, The Aaron Bonner Foundation awards an Apple Macbook Computer Bundle as well a scholarship to a graduating high school senior from the conference.


Woman to Woman Conference


Since 2011, The Aaron Bonner Foundation has been a sponsor of the annual Woman to Woman Conference held on the campus of Howard University. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Alpha Chapter, has developed the Woman to Woman Conference as a means to reach out to young women in the greater Washington, DC area. Each year they invite over 500 young woman to the campus of Howard University with these specific objectives in mind: * To promote self-awareness and self-love * To expose the participants to a myriad of career paths and ​ professional opportunities in the arts, * To provide participants with the opportunity to interact with positive and professional role models. * To enhance leadership and professional skills and create supportive interpersonal relationships. Each year, The Aaron Bonner Foundation awards an Apple Macbook Computer Bundle as well a scholarship to a graduating high school senior from the conference.


I’m a Future AB Scholar


The mission of the “I’m a Future AB Scholar” Program is to provide support to students grades 4-12. We accomplish this mission by providing academic, social, physical and cultural programs. The unique combination of fostering personal growth and experiential learning produces visible results by allowing young individuals to take ownership and responsibility for a new and improved quality of life, which will contribute to a sustainable and a successful future.

In recognizing Aaron Bonner's commitment to service despite battling cancer, the Brother's Keeper Award has been established. The Aaron Bonner Foundation in partnership with the Howard University Bison Ball Committee seeks to recognize a Howard University student who demonstrates a commitment to service both on and off campus.
